Play 88-Key Piano Online for Free

My Piano is a high-performance interactive virtual piano developed by Evostackr that allows musicians, students, and hobbyists to play piano online directly in their web browser. Featuring 88 authentic acoustic grand piano note recordings spanning 7 full octaves, it supports instantaneous polyphonic chord playing using your computer keyboard, mouse, or multi-touch mobile screen with zero lag, plugins, or software downloads.

How to Play the Online Piano

Playing My Piano is designed to be as natural and expressive as sitting down at a real acoustic instrument. You can choose between touch, mouse, and desktop computer keyboard input methods.

🖱️

Mouse & Touch Glissando

Click any white or black key to strike that note. Press and drag your mouse or finger across adjacent keys to perform fluid, continuous glissando sweeps. On touchscreen tablets and phones, multi-touch allows you to play full chords naturally.

Computer Keyboard Play

Use your QWERTY keyboard as a virtual keyboard synthesizer. The home row (A through J) triggers natural white keys, while the upper row (W, E, T, Y, U) strikes black sharp keys.

Piano Keyboard Guide

Understand the layout and geometry of the piano keyboard to master melodies, chords, and scales faster.

Understanding White Keys (Natural Notes)

The white keys represent the seven natural notes in Western music: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. This seven-note sequence repeats continuously across the keyboard from left to right. Moving right raises the pitch, while moving left lowers it into the deep bass register.

Understanding Black Keys (Sharps & Accidentals)

Black keys are arranged in repeating patterns of two and three. They represent accidentals—sharps (♯) and flats (♭). In My Piano, these keys produce A#, C#, D#, F#, and G#, positioned symmetrically above their natural neighbors.

Finding Middle C (C4)

Middle C (labeled C4 on our virtual keyboard) is the universal reference note for pianists. It sits directly to the left of the group of two black keys in the center of the instrument. My Piano opens focused on Middle C (Octave 4) by default.

Octaves & Harmonic Intervals

An octave is the interval between one musical pitch and another with double its frequency. On our 7-octave piano, moving from C1 up to C7 demonstrates how the fundamental acoustic frequency doubles every octave while preserving the same pitch class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear, verified answers to the most common questions about playing piano online with My Piano.

How do I play piano online for free?

Visit My Piano at https://my-piano.evostackr.in/ in any modern browser. You can immediately strike keys using your mouse, tap with your fingers on touchscreen devices, or type on your computer keyboard. There are no fees, subscriptions, or downloads required.

Can I play the piano using my computer keyboard?

Can I use this online piano on my phone or tablet?

Yes. My Piano is fully responsive and supports multi-touch gestures on iOS (Safari) and Android (Chrome). You can play multiple notes at once or slide your finger across keys for glissando. Rotating your device to landscape provides a wider, more comfortable layout.
